Karla’s life is a testament to an undying faith in knowing that God has a plan, and “something more” for us to do on this side of heaven. Karla (King) Meeks was born unto a family of 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and parents who loved and supported her grand ideals in life.  Born in California and living most of her life there, Karla made numerous friends and associates with her winning personality and giving spirit.  She learned from the best of them, as she explored business functions and processes from many established business women and men in her circles.  Her concentrated efforts and passion for business success has led her to founding and establishing a very unique company by the name of 4Queenz Kreations, in 2014; providing event design and decorating.  Karla believes in living life to the fullest; she feels that beauty and happiness are values that must fit into the equation of life.

Years before the launch of her new company; in January of 2009 Karla’s life was marked with an event that would change her destiny, she fell into a coma after a second brain surgery to remove a tumor from her sinus and brain and was suffering from complete organ failure. When the family was given the devastating news that she would not make it through the night, nothing but prayer, for healing, infused the hospital room where Karla’s life was supported by respirator tubes, intravenous fluids and oxygen was to sustain her life.  Suddenly and miraculously, she opened her eyes and was shortly taken off life support.  She was alive and sustaining on her own.  During her illness and recovery, Karla can attest that God revealed to her that [her] life is important and that [she] has some important business to do on this side of heaven.  Karla remained in the hospital for months on dialysis treatment and rehabilitation. 

Once released from the hospital, Karla’s struggle to maintain her life with her children was very difficult; financially, emotionally, and mentally.  She lost her job, home, good health, and self respect.  It has been several years since her incident and Karla now has her head up high with a smile and looking forward to becoming an event design business success.  She has all of the characteristics of a “remarkable woman”.  Today, you will hear her say with great enthusiasm, I'M STILL HERE!!!
